Parker is on an adventure, one that is dangerous and very frightening. He will be involved in many battles against an enemy that no child should ever face; Acute Leukemia.

When we recieved the telephone call from Parker's dad it caused us to sit in shock. Wondering how we could help, we quickly set up the domain parkeru.org and began to build a web site so that the parents could keep everyone updated on Parker's progress. Little did we know that the word of little Parker would spread. This site has been online since February 14, 2007 and has had over 249,000 visits from all over the globe. A true testemony of how the Internet works.
*Update: Little Parker lost his fight with cancer on November 17, 2007. Because of all the lives his story and life have touched, his parents are starting an organization that helps the families of children "under the age of 3" that have a life threatening illness. This site had some challenges from the beginning. The site needed to convey the needs the family has during this crisis while also making it easy for visitors to leave messages of comfort and prayers. The perfect solution is a blog and the best blogging system we know of is WordPress.
